This is a 1:26 scale brick model of the
Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf A. The model set is made by COBI Bricks, which is a brand that produces Lego-compatible models of aircraft, tanks and even cars; mostly historical and military-themed. The quality of this build is overall, quite good, and building the model was fun except for the treads which were a huge pain to put together on the wheels. The end result is nothing short of amazing. It also includes a minifigure of a military general, as well as some very neat engine detailing. A bonus, there are no stickers, which is great because I absolutely suck at applying stickers.
Historically, the Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf A was in service between 1930–1941. You can now find the tank in museums, like in the attached picture (which was not taken by me, but by a photographer named R. Johansson). The last time this tank was seen in action was during World War II, in Finland. Notable flaws included the engine being prone to overheating.
Now I will share some pictures I took of this beautiful model of the Panzer I Ausf A.
